The muggles don't know it, but the family is able to enhance their production and taste of their wares through the use of various magical means. There are whisperings of the Marzano's being involved in other gray areas, as it were, but they neither confirm nor deny the 'rumours.'
Francesca's mother is British, from Westminister and also very wealthy. Her mother's side is involved in the jewelry business, which has contributed to Francesca's love for all things that glitter. She was born in London where her family currently resides, although the family of three splits their time between London and their second residence in the Italian coastal city of Sorrento. Her father deals with the finances of the olive business and her mother designs some of the jewelry pieces for Cavanaugh Gemology. Francesca is an only child and loves it that way. Although she comes across as somewhat cold and self-absorbed, she has a very distinct belief of what is fair and just. This lovely character is being played by nahla! ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Sana rolled her eyes when Iola crossed her arms and said she didn’t owe her anything and could take care of herself. ”Riiiight. Like you did back there.” Sana gestured behind her.
“What’s a perfect little Hit Witch doing down here anyways? You’re not following up on my lead, I know that much.”
”Look at you, fountain of knowledge.” she said, pocketing the sickle and sighing, deciding not to push her buttons. Iola had been through a lot and recent intel hadn’t shown her doing anything sketchy lately. ”First of all, not so perfect since I let you get the drop on me back there” she counted off on each finger as she continued, ”Second, you aren’t exactly privy to my business simply because you’re on order business” she used air quotes for emphasis, ”and third, just because people are in Diagon Alley, doesn’t mean they’re up to no good. I could have a hankering for that gray slime they serve as soup at the restaurant down here. Perhaps I’ve got a beau who lives here, maybe I am up for some late night reading at the library orrrr… I live here? All possibilities.” she said, shrugging. Of course none of these were true.
Salma sighed and shoved her hands in her pockets. ”Look, I don’t have anything against you… even though you’ve got an inclination to manhandle people,” she smirked then continued. ”I know you’ve been put through the ringer with everything that’s gone on.” it made sense that someone like Iola would be paranoid and on edge, only natural. Sana didn’t fault her for it. ”I’m going to give you some advice, even though you didn’t ask for it. You might want to stop mentioning the Order when you bump into people. There are people in my department who aren’t fans of the Order, to put it mildly.” Sana scanned their surroundings again, before speaking once more. ”Often they’re men, either with something to prove or something to compensate for,” Sana paused and raised her eyebrows for emphasis. ”They could hassle you, just saying, be careful.” Sana wasn’t a monster and she actually felt bad for Iola.
