Being the only witch born into an all muggle family might sound scary. But Rae's parents and her sister have always been supportive. Everyone knew Rae was destined for different things than her family. From the age of five, she was always out beating up boys who picked on other little girls. But by the time she was about eight and nine, stranger and more inexplicable things began happening to those playground bullies.
When Rae got a letter to a school named Hogwarts, suddenly everything just made sense.
Her parents never were the most wealthy but they did what they could to ensure that Rae was ready for school. Rae's father was a franchise owner at a Muggle restaurant chain called Subway and her mother was a grade school teacher. The sorting hat wasted no time in sorting the girl into Gryffindor...the hat had hardly even touched her head! Classes were intriguing...the pictures moved...people flew on actual broomsticks...Rae just couldn't get enough.
She fell in love with Quidditch and tried out for the team her second year after convincing her parents to buy her a hand me down Firebolt before the year started...though she didn't make it. She did, however, receive an invite to practice with a lot of the players and finally made the team in her fourth year.
If she's not in class, one can typically find Rae on the pitch, in detention, or getting detention by trying to serve up some badass vigilante justice in the hallways. This lovely character is being played by Ky! Ky has been roleplaying for over a decade, and plays a whole army on this site. Ky lives in the EST time zone, and you can reach them by pm and discord
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:Vadellia had dismissed them.
Leo had taken off like a bat out of hell and honestly, Chelsea couldn't blame him. Exiting the hut behind Julian, Chelsea walked alongside him in silence for a bit...simply taking in what had just happened.
She had spent the majority of her cognitive life searching for this. Searching for power. And now she had it...but...the term "be careful what you wish for" just kept playing over and over in her head. It was a lot.
It was too much.
The duo had cleared the forest and were free of Vader. There was no way she would come this far and risk being seen. Feet suddenly stopping, Chelsea stared at the back of Julian's head before softly whispering his name.
"Julian?"
The memory of that evening in the common room...and how he told her she didn't have to do everything alone. The feeling she felt, rushing around trying to find him before coming to the meeting they had both wound up at. Her eyes caught his and under the pale moon, her eyes were visibly misty.
"Did you mean what you said about...not having to do everything alone?"
Her voice broke a bit, but still the girl didn't let the tears fall. She was overwhelmed...scared...terrified. But she still stood tall as she watched the Slytherin in front of her.
