Felicity hadn’t been able to go to the Harvest Festival thanks to having classes all day, but she didn’t mind. Running the studio was something she absolutely loved, despite it taking most of her time. It was practically all she did lately…but she didn’t mind. The few spare moments she had were spent with Roni or as of late, David Jeon. Felicity wasn’t sure what to think about the fancy quidditch player yet - he was definitely attractive, and he told her all about finding Kai and he just…was so genuine. Even in the few dates that they’d been on, she already felt much better about the situation than the one she’d been in with Erin. Nothing against Erin. It…Felicity was blaming it mostly on timing, and also on the fact that they just weren’t compatible romantically. It happened.
But speaking of David, he’d offered to help her move the last few boxes to her new flat. Felicity had been staying with Saffron and her cousin, Sherrod, for quite some time since her engagement to Kermit fizzled out, and she knew it was time to get on her own…spending time with David was really kicking that into gear. Well, that, and the fact that the second spare bedroom at the Macready’s was being used by a former murderer. Felicity didn’t think she’d do anything, but she also didn’t think she trusted her.
The dark haired witch rubbed her hands together as if it were cold, but she supposed right now it was probably out of nerves. Cinnamon Bun was on a leash beside her, scratching his ear and whining up at her. She patted his head…he wasn’t late or anything, Felicity was just, as per usual, early. She watched the dwindlers at the festival as it continued on, glad that something like this had come to the little village of Hogsmeade. They needed something new. And…her something new was approaching casually, the smile on his lips causing those dimples to appear in his cheeks. Oh, thank goodness for Kai and Nico and their cute attempt to matchmake! ”Hey,” she breathed, offering him a smile of her own.

David...rather liked Felicity. He had been pretty skeptical when his little sister had mentioned wanting him to meet Nico's pretty dance teacher...but so far, it seemed Kai maybe knew what she was talking about. The witch was a delight to be around...and absolutely stunning to boot.
So he had agreed to help her finish moving. It would be a nice chance to see her again...and a chance for their pups to play together. So with that in mind, David finished getting dressed...his outfit pretty casual for his standards...and then he got WooJoo fitted into his harness before leashing him and apparating over to Hogsmeade Village.
The Harvest Festival was in full swing and David grinned. It was cute...but not what he was here for. He set WooJoo down, holding onto the leash and walking through the crowds. He did stop and buy some pumpkin candy for Felicity...and then he honed in on the cottage off in the distance.
Approaching, he smiled as he saw her. She was, of course, beautiful. He greeted her, laughing as WooJoo whined and barked happily, wanting to play with the little Cinnamon Roll.
"You look beautiful today," he offered in his thick accent, wrapping an arm around her to hug her and kiss her cheek smoothly.

WooJoo was one of Felicity's favorite parts about David. Of course, it was hard to narrow down to a favorite part about David, but his happy, playful pup was definitely one of them. Cinnamon Bun didn't seem as thrilled, but Felicity knew it would just take a little bit for him to get warmed up. Then she was sure they'd be chasing each other around. Oh, and that accent. That accent was definitely something that Felicity would consider her favorite thing about David. Felicity blushed at the compliment - she didn't really wear anything too special; mostly just comfortable to move the last few boxes. Still flushing a little from the smooth way he'd greeted her, Felicity brushed the hair from her eyes and looked up at him. He was... it was much different than the way she'd been with Erin or Evan, for that matter. But she wasn't thinking about the twins now, as she reached down to pick up Cinnamon Bun. "These are the last two. I...probably could have done it myself but I think the pops were starting to scare Sherry," she let out a small laugh, glancing back at the cottage. Her niece would of course forever forgive her, but she didn't want to be a problem or a source of anxiety for the little girl. After getting a hold of the boxes (Ella assumes David took one for the sake of the thread), she apparated them out of there and to the alley just outside the building where her flat resided. It was a muggle neighborhood, but really nice, Felicity actually excited to have her own place. She walked them up to the door and unlocked it, setting Cinnamon Bun down to run inside, and let David do the same with WooJoo before closing the door behind them. She had boxes all over the place thanks to always being at the studio, but she was getting it taken care of. "Sorry for the mess. Long hours at the studio..." she drifted off, setting the box down. It really wasn't that bad...a box here or there. But she was still a little embarrassed. "Thank you for your help...can I...repay you with take-out? A drink? A trip to the dogpark and all of the above?" she asked, still trying to figure David out. She definitely felt a stronger connection with David and didn't want to do anything to mess it up.

David knew he was smooth. He had never had much issue in his way with the ladies. So as Felicity blushed and moved her hair from her face to look up at him, he grinned and shot her a coy wink. She was adorable and he was into it. He could tell she didn't have much for experience and while that never bothered him, it did cause him to pump his breaks just a little bit.
No sense in jumping straight into his bed with her.
She motioned to the two boxes and David nodded as she explained that the pops from the repeated apparition was starting to worry the young girl who lived in the home she was moving out of. That made sense...and David liked kids. No sense scaring them too much if you didn't have to. So he scooped up WooJoo in one arm and lifted the box with his other before sliding up close to Felicity with a coy smirk.
A flash later and they were in a small alley in a muggle neighborhood. He watched his companion unlock the door and set her pup down, and David followed suit, setting his fluffy white pooch down and unleashing him...watching him happily run into the building before following Felicity in. Setting the box down, he just grinned as she apologized for the mess. Again...she was just being too cute.
Thank you for your help...can I...repay you with take-out? A drink? A trip to the dogpark and all of the above?
David smirked and stepped closer to her, wrapping an arm around her waist before pulling her to him and placing a soft, teasing little kiss to her lips. He had hardly done anything to warrant a thank you...he had literally just shown up and lifted a single box. But...if this was Felicity's excuse to spend some time together, he wouldn't argue. He quite liked being with her.
"You can thank me however, you want," he teased with a grin, still holding her waist.

Maybe it was a lame attempt to get David to hang out with her, and maybe David did see right through it, but she didn't want to be that girl, the type who was like, "hey you wanna get take-out and hang out at my new apartment?" even though, after thinking about it, David probably wouldn't have minded. If she would have brought up this anxiety with Roni, she probably would have metaphorically smacked her upside the head and reminded her that David was obviously interested if he kept coming back. That, and, he hadn't pressured her into anything.
Not that Felicity would have minded.
David took a step closer to her once the boxes were down, and pulled her close. She looked up at him - Felicity had always been dwarfed by pretty much anyone she spent time with being barely five foot one, but she felt extra small there, in David's arms. But...there was nowhere else she'd rather be at that moment. He placed a kiss to her lips and even though it was the smallest, most innocent thing she'd ever experienced, it still sent a shock wave through her system. Kissing David was like nothing she'd ever experienced before.
"You can thank me however you want."
Felicity smiled up at him, biting down on her bottom lip. It wasn't like her to be forward - that time with Evan had been a fluke, she convinced herself. But being here now...was bringing up a little confidence in her system as she moved her hands up his chest to his shoulders. The brunette leaned up onto her tiptoes so she could kiss him this time, smiling as she hovered just above his lips when she pulled away. "All of the above...and then some?"

David could be cocky and a bit aloof. But he would never let Felicity sit in a haze of anxiety and uncertainty if he knew. But he didn't. He assumed she understood that he was very much interested in her. So when she smiled up at him, biting shyly on that lower lip, David just smiled back at her.
Her hands slid up his chest, coming to rest on his shoulders, and David watched her intently. He leaned in to meet her as she kissed him and her words caused a smirk to spread on his lips. He nodded and kissed her again. They had been on some dates. They had kissed before. But that had been about it. They weren't an official item or anything...but the more time that David spent with her, the more he was thinking about what it would be like to call Felicity his and only his.
They spent a bit more time just standing there...kissing...before David sighed contentedly and pulled back just enough to really look at her. When they had exited the alley, he had glanced around, noting a small diner down the road and a dog park across the street from it. Ideal really. As if someone had just made that up to fit the narrative.
"Want to walk the dogs down the street? Place a takeout order and let them run around the dog park while we wait on it?"
He shot her a wink before placing a few kissed to her jaw, waiting on her answer.

No, they weren't official. And maybe that was where some of Felicity's hesitancy came from - she was not in the dating game at all...she didn't know how things worked anymore. Her relationship with Erin had been...strange, to say the least, and whatever that was with Evan wasn't considered a fling or a relationship at all...also completely out of her realm. But even though they'd gone on dates and had kissed some... there wasn't...she wasn't sure what this meant, really. But if Roni were there, she'd reassure her. Tell her that David was into her and to be patient.
Felicity was being ridiculously patient. Relationships scared her.
After a few moments of kissing like they were on her parents' doorstep after a high school date, David pulled back and Felicity would be a liar if she said she wasn't disappointed. But he brought up food and the dog park, which, of course, were right there, close enough to her loft that it wouldn't be a crazy trek. She nodded, slowly, shrugging one shoulder. Again, she'd be a liar if she said she didn't want to stay there and just keep on what they were doing. Especially when he placed a few well timed kisses to her jaw, causing her breath to hitch in her throat. "You're not making me want to leave," she bit her bottom lip as she looked up at him again. "But, I did promise all of the above," she joked. And depending how much time he had after, she was sure they could find something else to do, too.

Kissing Felicity was fun. She was cute, a tad inexperienced, eager…it was all rather endearing to the quidditch star. So pulling away had taken some effort. Suggesting doing anything other than exactly what they were doing right then took even more effort.
She commented, echoing his thoughts about not wanting to leave and David’s fingers gripped her hips a little tighter as he smirked. She was so very enticing.
”We could always just stay in…”
He placed a kiss to the soft flesh just below her ear.
”I’ll call for takeout later…”

Had Felicity known what David was thinking it would have really set her on edge. But thankfully, he didn't, and she could just happily kiss him...whatever this was. Right now she couldn't care less about labels, just about the man in front of her. About the firm way he gripped onto her hips as she spoke, causing her to bite down on her bottom lip.
"We could always just stay in..."
Cue a kiss to the skin below her ear, causing goosebumps to rise up on her skin. It took everything in her not to let out the breath she was clearly holding with him standing so close to her. Was she nervous? Ever so slightly. But he wasn't allowing her to be too nervous as he spoke again -
"I'll call for takeout later..."
Cue the breath that she knew she was holding. "I'm not very hungry anyway..." she whispered, pulling her arms around his neck, naturally pulling herself a little closer to him. This hadn't been her plan when she'd asked for his help moving - perhaps takeout, a little kissing, a walk with the dogs. But this? This was new. This was allowed. This was...exactly what she wanted. "...are you?"

David could feel the nerves brewing beneath her skin. She was so sweet and almost innocent. He breathed out his words and grinned as she let out the breath she had been holding. Her arms slipped around him and she was pressed to him...telling him how she wasn't hungry.
Are you?
A low, primal groan echoed in the back of David's throat as his hands slid lower on her thighs so that he could lift her up. Walking toward her sofa, he fell back into it...Felicity on top of him as he gazed up at her mischievously.
"Starving," he growled teasingly.

Felicity wasn't sure what to expect, but honestly, this wasn't it. The way he growled and picked her up - it was enough to make her a puddle in his hands. Absolute mush. She pulled herself closer to him as he slunk down on her sofa, both her legs on either side of his. He looked up at her and it, again, caused her to bite her bottom lip as she looked down at him. He mentioned he was starving. For...things that weren't food, she was sure.
"Well let's get you good and satisfied then, yeah?" she asked, raising an eyebrow as she leaned in to kiss him again. Even though she was feeling confident, she was sure everything would go a lot smoother if he were to take the lead - he'd been quite the teacher already.

Felicity pulled herself closer to him and David couldn’t help the way his hands came to rest behind her. His eyes were heavy with lust and desire and as she responded back to his coy comments, he smirked.
It didn’t take long for their kisses to deepen and for it to become increasingly clear where exactly David was steering this evening. In one fluid motion, David’s left hand moved up to cradle the back of Felicity’s head as he moved to lay her down on the couch.
If she consented, the world around them would fade into a PG-13 haze…and when it came back up…David would be holding her to him as their breathing leveled out a bit. He had taken his time with her. A woman like Felicity deserved to be tended to. She wasn’t like some of his hookups where he got in and out as fast as he could…she was a gem. And he had taken the time to worship every facet of her being.

This wasn't how Felicity had planned for her night to go - not that she planned anything at all - but she had assumed their relationship would take this turn eventually. Her time with Evan had been nothing like this. It…it seemed like David was in it for more than just the thrill of it, where you could tell there weren't any feelings previously. Felicity wasn't sure what type of feelings were there, but there were definitely feelings.
Felicity rested against him, not sure what to say, or do. She chewed on her bottom lip as she hashed everything over - what this meant, how she felt, what other people would think. Felicity didn't put herself out there…she'd been engaged to marry someone she'd never been with before, and he led her down a path of self destruction. And now? She…spent ninety-five percent of her free time with a professional quidditch player. Surely the tabloids would have something to say about that…and about her.
”David?” Felicity's voice was soft, but after a few moments of silence she knew she had to tell him. ”I don't know…what this is or where it's headed. But there is something I feel like I need to tell you before the tabloids do.” she also wasn't sure how much Kai and Nico told him. ”I was engaged before. It doesn't matter, haven't really thought of him in years. But i know they'd come up with something…probaby nasty to say about it. But I also…I guess I also wanted you to know why I'm…just a little bit guarded.”

He was enjoying laying there holding the woman in his arms...but David knew he would need to move at some point. He had promised her dinner after all. But he was quite content for the moment.
Her soft voice said his name and he turned his eyes to her with a smile, just watching her. She was beautiful and his hand trailed up and down the soft span of her back as he waited for her to speak again.
I don't know…what this is or where it's headed...
Neither did he...he just knew that he wanted to see her again. Soon and as much as she would allow. But she wasn't finished talking and David let her go, his face unphased by any of it. They all had a past and Felicity's prior relationships didn't bother him much. But he knew why it was bothering her. Since his transfer, he'd pulled a lot of attention from the local tabloids...though he was hoping the influx of younger blood in the league would sway that a bit.
He used his finger to tilt her head up and place a soft kiss to her lips.
"Guard what you must," he offered softly. "I will do my best to protect what I can."
He watched her for a moment before smiling.
"I do not know what this is yet either...but I am enjoying finding it out with you?"
His accent was still thick but thanks to the Parks and Kai, his English was much improved...so he was fairly certain he had said exactly what he meant in the moment.

Being with David was just so…easy. Even with the tabloids and the fame and what have you, Felicity was content. Roni would probably argue that her friend was actually happy, which was a feat in itself since her engagement ended. In fact, since she started seeing David, this was the first time she'd ever thought about it…but she thought it was important that he knew.
“I do not know what this is yet either…but I am enjoying finding it out with you?”
Felicity wasn't sure if she was actually looking for an answer rather than what David had said, but she realized she was actually comfortable with it. She smiled up at him and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. ”Me too. I just…I don't know. Didn't want you to think it was you…” she paused, biting her bottom lip. ”’Cause I'm really happy.”
