A Forbidden Party In The Forest. Lydia Bradley and Carter Ashdown cordially invite any Hogwarts students brave enough to travel the Forbidden Forest to a forbidden party. It's the first Friday since second term has started and they are itching to kick this term off with a bang. There is a large bonfire in the centre, pixies lighting up paths to plenty of dark nooks to get cozy with someone special. With a fair bit of persuading, Silas Valentine and Jay Park have put protective enchantments and warming charms around the perimeter of the party bounds. If you see them, tell them they did a great job so that they help next time too.
Carter and Lydia would also like to warn you to leave any harmless magical creatures that stumble through the party alone. They are just living their lives and don't need drunk teens confusing them. Have fun and stay warm.
Let the party begin!

Parties and Rae went hand in hand. The seventh year lioness loved a good party and when she had heard the whispers of one in the Forbidden Forest? Oh she was so down. So when classes were over, the blonde hurried back to her dorm to clean up and get ready. She would be meeting Jay there...knowing he was going to be helping cast a few charms.
So once she was dressed properly for the weather...she touched base with her friends. She figured Kaden and Mattie would go together...and then she knew Bo was coming to meet up with Jon. So she scooted off on her own.
And once she was there?
The blonde grinned ear to ear before running to her boyfriend and tossing her arms around his neck.
They had spend ninety percent of the break together...but it was still like she hadn't seen him at all. She always missed him.

Of course Gordy would go to the party. It was kind of silly to think he wouldn't. And besides, since Gordy and Finn graduated, it was just him, Lauren, and Georgia, and someone had to pretend to be their date. Well, Georgia had Luke now. But when Luke was unavailable, Grady was obviously happy to be an arm for both of them. So when he slipped out of the dorms and was snagged immediately by Lauren, he grinned at her. "You bet," he nodded toward the portrait, holding it open for her before they made their way down to the party. "Well good thing we're early then," he grinned, before opening up his jacket and plucking a bottle out of his pocket. "This might help too," he tossed her a wink as she looped her arm with his, getting under the protective enchantments and enjoying the slight heat from one of the bonfires. "What's your plan, Rosewood?" Lauren Rosewood

His conversation with Oliver hadn't gone exactly the way he had hoped. Bo hadn't been dumb enough to think it would be perfect...but he had expected to leave without still feeling like Oliver and everyone else in the common room still blamed him for just being him.
But something Oliver said had Bo thinking...and as he and Jon walked to the party together, Bo pulled his jacket closer to his frame. Once they were past the enchantments and within the warmth of the fires, Bo looked around...observing the people around them. But...Bo wasn't feeling super social and suddenly he was wondering if they should have just slipped off to their little hiding hole.
Taking Jon's hand, Bo pulled him off to the side and once they were alone...he pressed a kiss to the man's lips. A lot had happened with them over the break and Bo was feeling particularly attached. But if what Oliver said was true, then there was a good chance that Bo was hurting Jon too.
Pulling back, he sighed and rested his forehead against the Gryffindor's.
"Are you happy?" he asked softly...his nerves evident in his voice.

The day had arrived and Lydia could not articulate to you just how excited she was. She and Carter made their last preparations earlier that day and as the hours went on and the night was approaching, Liza could feel the anticipation bubbling under her skin. The puff pulled Ophelia along toward the dungeons, her knuckles rasping against the barrels to access their common room, and the pair made their way to their dorm to get ready. Noah was supposed to be sneaking in to see her friend and Lydia wanted to make sure everything went smoothly.
She helped Cy pick out her outfit for tonight before changing herself. Liza headed to the mirror and spiced up her makeup a little, her fingers running through her hair as she inspected her appearance. Satisfied, she turned around and smiled when she saw Ophelia looking like a vision. “Beautiful!” she exclaimed, laughing as she pulled her best mate in for a hug. “He’ll love it,” she said with a wink. Once they both were totally ready, Lydia and Ophelia made their way to the Forbidden Forest.
Silas and Jay really came through on the enchantments, she thought as they approached. There were only crickets sounding and no evidence that anything was going on. Lydia squeezed Ophelia’s hand as they walked into the forest and toward the sanctuary. Once they crossed the barrier, they were met with the sound of music and people chatting. Fairies and pixies lit up the dark forest and the bonfire was raging in the center. She could see Carter standing by and smiled. “Come on, I see Carter,” she said to Cy, squeezing her hand again before leading her toward their friend.
“Carter! This is amazing, isn’t it?” A bright grin spread across her face as she leaned in to give him a side-hug, still hand in hand with Ophelia. “Man, I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. Silas and Jay did an awesome job! I couldn’t hear a thing getting here.”

The holidays were over and they were back at Hogwarts. Layla had been looking forward to this party Carter and Lydia were throwing. No, the brunette wasn’t much of a partier, but she did enjoy being around her peers. She’d be going with her best mate, at least for a time before she was pulled away by a certain Hufflepuff. Layla knew what was going on between Cera and Ethan, but she didn’t pry her friend for any answers. What she did in her spare time was frankly none of Layla’s business, but the veela thought that Ethan was a good match for her. Until Cera came to her about it, she wouldn’t say a word.
After dressing herself and putting on some light makeup, Layla looped her arm with Cera’s and smiled. “You look pretty,” she told her softly. Cera was always pretty. The pair made their leave of Ravenclaw tower and headed to the sanctuary where the party was held. Their journey was uneventful, just some gossiping as they navigated the winding corridors of the castle. Before long they were headed into the forest. “Jay is such a remarkable spellcaster,” she observed as they got closer. Silas was, as well, but Jay always acted like he couldn’t care less about school. The enchantments surrounding the party left no trace of what was happening, but when they crossed them they were greeted with light, heat and noise.
Layla followed wherever Cera led, her bright gaze sweeping the area and taking in all her classmates mingling. Most seemed to be congregating around the drink and snack tables or the bonfire. The set up was quite impressive.

Break was over and everyone was back at Hogwarts. They had to exit their little bubble all too soon and Rose was sad about it. The last two weeks were an absolute dream, but that was part of the problem, wasn’t it? She liked Finch too much. She had never met someone quite like him and that was honestly scaring the shit out of her. Rose put off thinking about this for two whole weeks, but the school was populated again and the expectations of the real world were starting to set in. They had the party tonight and while she was happy to go with Finch, she was also kind of dreading it. She wasn’t girlfriend material and she didn’t want to lead him on. But Gods… to feel his hands, his lips on her. There wasn’t a strong enough word for that feeling.
The sun had set and it was time to get ready. Rose stood in front of the floor length mirror, her fingers tracing the ring on her finger. She looked at it closely, a whirlwind of emotion stirring up in her. He passed it off as something he bought in Hogsmeade, but… something told her it was more serious than that. Part of her wanted to take it off and hide it away somewhere, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it. Rose let out a heavy sigh, her hands falling to her sides as she tore her gaze away from it and looked at herself in the mirror. She smoothed her hands down her dress before tugging her leather jacket closer to her chest. It was a frigid night, but they promised a bonfire.
After tucking her wand in her pocket, Rose left her dorm and subsequently the Gryffindor common room. As she stepped out of the portrait hole, she looked up to see him waiting for her. Her heart sped up in her chest, butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she took him in. He was quite literally the handsomest boy she’d ever seen. “Hey,” she breathed, stepping to him and resting her hands on his chest. “You escorting me?” Finch was such a gentleman, she really didn’t deserve it. A faint blush rose to her cheeks and she leaned in to kiss him slowly. They broke apart and headed to the Forbidden Forest, talking all the while.
The party was in full swing by the time they got there, her hand wrapped snugly around his bicep. She wanted to hold his hand, but… that was too real right now. Rose smiled up at him, giving his arm a tug. “Let’s get something to drink, yeah?” She led him to the bar table and she snatched up a firewhisky. Without much thought or care, she knocked the whole drink back and picked up another, wincing at the burn. Her heart was racing and her body was vibrating with nerves. Rose had never cared what people thought of her before, but for some reason the thought of others thinking she was in a relationship had her anxious. “Better.”

finch was laughing with a few friends as he finished up pulling his outfit together, looking into the mirror one last time with a hand wisping through his hair. the boy was excited; this party had been long awaited. even before rose, talks had been going on about after christmas festivities. he was almost surprised to know how many people there would be, but when everyone returned the castle had been brought back to life. still, he couldn’t shake the uneasiness that was brewing in his chest at the thought of seeing rosaline dressed up for such an occasion.
his outfit was simple, and the boy eventually made his way from the ravenclaw common room, finding his girl with ease. that was another anxiety within him … she wasn’t technically his, was she? the last two weeks had been a blur of muddied feelings, he’d realized sometime before break ended. it was no secret that rose kelly had done everything in her power to avoid a relationship. finch wondered if he was different, or if he would have to find out the hard way. he wanted her, that much was clear, but finch wasn’t the type to push boundaries. and gods was she beautiful he thought to himself.
the kiss felt obligatory. ”i wouldn’t want it any other way,” he reminded her. finch still smiled and melted into her as he always did, and on their way to the forbidden forest there was much to talk about. the chill of the air nipped at his face, every so often stealing glances of rose’s face. there was a smile hanging off the corners of his lips the entire way there.
once they arrived, finch looked about the area and to his friends, making small waves in their direction. his eyes fell unto rose as she said they should head for drinks, noting the way she avoided his hands. ”show me the way,” he said, following closely behind. a few of his fellow ravenclaw looked to him with a quiet question in their eyes, and finch coiled into himself as they approached. with ease, the girl downed the firewhisky, and he chuckled with a small shake of his head.
finch reached down for his own, taking a swig as he turned back to the other partygoers. ”full crowd, yeah? i’m kind of impressed.”

A party...That wasn't usually Sunny's scene. But his cousin's had been talking about it...Gia had mentioned it...and honestly, if Gia was going...there was no where else that Sunny would rather be. So here he was...getting dressed for a freaking school party.
And once he was ready, he left the tower, trekking down to the dungeons. He wanted to meet up with Gia there and make their way across the grounds together. So as he sat and waited outside of the Slytherin commons, he hummed softly to himself, watching students passing by and heading out.
But when the door swung open and Sunny saw not only Gia...but some other guy too? His dark eyes seemed to darken a little more, jealousy pricking at his nerves. Sure, there was another girl too...but who was this guy? He was seemingly everything that Sunny wasn't. White hair...tall...fancy.
"Gianna," he greeted, keeping a wary eye on who he believed was his competition.

Gia wasn't sure if Sunny was going to the party. To be honest, she was surprised she, Leo, and Andi decided to make an entrance. But either way, she got ready and met her friends in the common room. Once everything was set, they moved out of the portrait hole and a voice made her ears prick from behind her. ”Sunny,” she breathed, turning to face him. Andi looked with a raised brow and a smirk as Gia offered Sunny a smile that just didn't seem much like Gia. A few moments had passed before Gia turned to look at Leo and Andi, pointing out each one. ”My friends - Andi, and Leo. This is Sunny…” cue probably the look from both of them, letting everyone in the vicinity know that they knew...thus making Gia blush as the four of them started to walk. Gia fell in step with Sunny behind her friends, slowing the pace a little. ”Hey…

Leo loved a good party. And after a great holiday break spent with the love of his life...he was rejuvenated and ready to return to finish his final year of school with his friends. So as he sat in the common room waiting for the girls to be ready to go...Leo was just thumbing through a book. And as Andi and Gia finally made their way out, Leo grinned, standing up to pull on his jacket.
The trio made their way out of the dungeon common room and no sooner had they taken five steps then he heard someone say Gia's name. The group turned and Leo smirked as he saw Sunny. He knew it. He knew something was going on and Gia's face just confirmed it all. Some introductions later and they were all on their way, Gia and Sunny falling back a few paces.
Looking to Andi, Leo smirked.
"Called it, didn't we?" He shared a chuckle with the girl and chatted a bit until they got to the party, stepping past the enchantments and into the warmth. It was quite nice. He knew Sunny and Gia would likely slip off pretty quickly so he turned to Andi. "What are we doing then, Beaufoy?"

That smile.
It lit up the whole dungeon and immediately quelled his anxiety and insecurity. She introduced them to the other two and Sunny took a moment to swallow his pride enough to greet them before they all began walking out of the castle and across the grounds. He and Gia found themselves a few paces behind Leo and Andi and he smiled at her as she greeted him again.
"Hello yeppeun," he greeted, calling her beautiful in his own tongue. The grounds were rather peaceful tonight and the sky was dotted beautifully with stars as they crossed to the forest. And once there, they crossed the threshold past the enchantments. Warmth took them over and there was music and chatter about. He watched Leo lead Andi away and he shot the blonde a small smile at the gesture before he turned to Gia...entirely ready to just hard launch their budding relationship.
"What would you like to do tonight?" he asked softly, looking at her as if she had personally hung every star in the sky.

The party was more than Gia expected -initially she thought it would have been a bonfire with smuggled firewhiskey. But this was so much more than that, and a part of her thanked her Ravenclaw counterparts and the other part…still wanted to know what she was doing there. Looking up at Sunny she smiled again knowing people were going to have evidence to back up the whispers from before break now. She didn't care.
”Something to drink? We could…find a bonfire with less people….” she looked around the party before her green eyes settled on him again…it seemed they always settled on him. ”I'm glad you decided to come.”

Something to drink sounded lovely. So Sunny nodded, a strong hand coming to rest on Gia's back as he escorted her to a table full of beverages. He grabbed a butterbeer for himself, never being much of a drinker...and waited for Gia to grab up whatever she wanted. Whatever she wanted, he wouldn't judge her for. He'd take care of her if she wanted to let loose and drink. And with that, he led her to a less crowded area.
Smiling down at her as she looked at him with those captivating green eyes, he nodded. "I am finding that I would like to go anywhere you want to go," he offered softly. His hand gently ran up the length of her arm before coming to rest on the side of her neck as he watched her. There wasn't very many people where they were...and the ones who were there were lost in their own world. But even if all eyes were on them, he'd still be just as focused and set on her.
"You look beautiful," he reminded her.
