PARK HAN-WOOL
This is Avi who is a Professional Quidditch Player.
They are 26 years old, and look a bit like Xu Minghao.
Played by steve.
The interesting thing about Beom Park’s sons was that Koda wasn’t actually the oldest…it was Avi. Almost two years his senior, actually…but Avi was never meant to be a leader. At least. Not in the sense of family. The thought of disappointing his family by leading his brothers down the wrong path was not something he wanted to do. Fortunately…Koda was the responsible one. Even at a young age he showed signs of being the leader of the family, and Avi sighed a breath of relief. And when he received his letter from Sumasandeul…it was a new experience. He was the first Park to go - followed by his twin cousins Evan and Erin, and his own younger brother, Koda.
Avi wasn’t as close in age with everyone as Koda, so he tended to just do his own thing. He did well at school, but nothing near as well as his brother. What he did excel at was quidditch, and that’s where he put his focus. He did well enough in his classes to make sure he was able to stay on the team, and then went from there. Avi had always been a bit of a ladies’ man, and just…ate up the attention he got from them. Anyone, really. And upon graduation that attention became amplified when he was offered a position as Seeker for the Appleby Arrows. A UK team. Away from his family. At his parents’ approval, he took the bid and uprooted his life. At least his cousins were there.
Within the first few years, it was clear Avi was a fan favorite, and when the opportunity arose to gain a captain for the team, he went for it. He got it. Avi always had easy charm and charisma, and while he couldn’t lead his family with the thought of being an absolute disappointment, quidditch was something he couldn’t disappoint. Perhaps there was some discord there, but Avi kept close with his brothers as much as possible. He went home for holidays, he visited as often as his schedule allowed. And when he heard of his parents’ passing…
Avi had a hard time with that. He didn’t want to go back - he didn’t want to stay where he grew up, where all the memories of them were. But he did it for Sunny and Koda, and watching them be buried was probably the hardest thing he’d ever done.
Avi probably hadn’t been the decision to move Sunny before his seventh year, but Koda knew what would be best for their younger brother. He always did - at least in the UK, they could be together. And their cousins were there; it made sense. Avi didn’t know how to talk to Sunny about it, though. He made conversation about quidditch, he asked if there were any girls he was interested in, but there wasn’t much he could do to get through to him. Koda…had always been better at that. For both of them. Even though he tried so hard not to be a disappointment to the family…he felt like he already was.
