Basics;;
FULL NAME: Felicity Nadine McMahon
NICKNAME(S): Fee
AGE/D.O.B.: 28, 06/19/1983
HOUSE: Ravenclaw
IDEOLOGY: Though Felicity was raised in a staunchly anti-muggle and muggleborn household, despite their connections to muggle ancestry themselves, she has done much work to attempt to deconstruct from that mindset. She feels neutrally about purebloods, is a halfblood herself(great great grandmother on her dad’s side was a muggleborn), and generally avoids muggle society as she doesn’t find it to be overall appealing. However, she is a fan of muggle clothing. She is not anti-pureblood, not that it matters, as purebloods are a dying breed anyway, though she does think that anti-purebloods are a bit dumb.

HISTORY:
Felicity was born on 19 June 1983, the first of the three triplets, the second child of Hana and Aidan McMahon. At first, she disliked growing up in such a large family. Fee liked to be the center of attention from an early age. That was hard with so many other siblings. She was inseparable from her triplets, they clung together at all times, throwing fits when they were pulled apart. She tended to be the one leading them around to get into things, and she also was surprisingly okay with taking the blame for such a young child. Other than the mass amounts of siblings, her childhood was relatively normal; they had a big house with a lot of land, and she loved it. When they got their Hogwarts letters, they were ecstatic. To her family's shock and dismay, she was the first in her family to be sorted into Ravenclaw, while her other two triplets were placed in Slytherin with her older brother, Micah. Of course Fee was very disappointed at this, and concerned that it would push her further from her two sisters, but that didn't happen. They stayed very tight, despite Fee's house difference. They would often try to sneak her into their dorm room, which she got caught for many times. She wasn't particularly close at this point with anyone in her own house, as she tended to hang out specifically with her siblings, and therefore gathered most of her friends from Slytherin. Just before her second year, Fee colored her hair bright red, wanting to stand apart from her sisters. Felicity had always been into Quidditch, and it was usually a family activity, seeing as there were so many of them. She got her first broom(that was not a Micah hand-me-down) at the age of 12, when she first made the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as a beater. She has always seen Quidditch(being a beater in particular) as a healthy and fun way to get her aggression out. She excelled in most of her classes, and began to cement her reputation in Ravenclaw as kind of being stuck up, and a little rude. To say it not so gently, Fee was sort of a bully. She stayed on the team as a beater, and began making more friends in Ravenclaw.
She and Andromeda were in the same year, and shared a dorm together. However, they weren't close until a fateful night when they had both snuck out to the kitchens. Fee knew the location from Micah, who had found it from a girl he was dating. She wasn't actually sure how Andy had found it. Either way, a Professor found them, and they got detention together for a week. Since, they have been best friends. Keeva started Hogwarts in Fee's fourth year, shocking everyone by being placed in Hufflepuff. In early October of her 4th year, Fee met Benjamin Ziodex on the black lake. He sat next to her and they spoke. He was a Hufflepuff, a year older than her. He bored her half to death, then insulted her sisters for being rude to him, and she left. They ran into each other again just a week later, and spoke more. She knew that he was a muggleborn, which caused disapproval from her family, but there was something about him that she was drawn to. He asked her on a date for the Hogsmeade weekend, to meet at the Shrieking Shack on Halloween. It seemed a strange place for a first date, but she agreed to meet him. By the time it had rolled around, she had forgotten about it, and went to the Shrieking Shack with her sisters. They snuck in, and Ben came in soon after looking for her. A fight ensued, and Fee didn't like being told what to do, so she stayed with Ben instead of leaving with her sisters. Thus started the reason why Pippa and Deirdre hated him. They dated anyway for about four months, before getting into a huge fight and breaking up. Ben called her a stuck up, trust fund snob, and Fee said he was below her. They didn't talk for a couple of months. Somehow, they got back together just before the end of term.
Unfortunately, a couple of weeks after their 15th birthday, tragedy struck. They were at their Aunt Ashley's house, swimming in the lake. Pippa was laying on the shore, sunbathing. Sean had went inside to go to the bathroom, Micah had left. Deirdre and Fee waded into the water, and Deirdre went out further than Felicity did. Suddenly, her sister was yanked under the water. Fee screamed. She didn't have her wand on her. Pippa was on the shore, screaming for their Aunt. Fee tried to swim under to pull her sister back up, but was unsuccessful, and almost got pulled down herself. By the time her Aunt came out, Deirdre was dead, drowned by grindylows. Though she knew, rationally, that her Aunt was not to blame, she still couldn't look at her or talk to her. She held a lot of hate for the woman; she thought it would make her feel better. went into a state of extreme depression. She stopped coloring her hair the bright red, now upset that she had wanted to distance herself from her sister. She sent an Owl to Ben telling him what happened, but he never got back to her. When they got back to school, he found her after the welcome feast, stopped her though she tried to push past him, and asked him to meet her in the library the next day. Against her better judgement, she agreed.
When she got there, Pippa was yelling at him about how Fee didn't need him, that he was ruining everything, that he should've stayed away like the letters told him. Pippa unabashedly admitted to stealing the letters Ben sent to Fee, as a means of protecting her. This put a serious strain on their relationship, and they fought, and didn't talk to each other for a while. As the middle triplet, it was frequent for Deirdre to break up little petty arguments between Fee and Pip. Her presence was sorely missed, and left an empty space that could be felt. She threw herself into her studies and Quidditch, trying her best to hold it together. She and Ben dated until May, before another explosive fight broke them up again. The only person she remained close friends with was Andy, though she did start hanging out with a couple of other people; Zara Leroy, Michael Rogers, and Kaitlyn Stover. At the end of her fifth year, she began to date Jacob, a Ravenclaw in his seventh year. Her O.W.L.s grades were as follows:
Astronomy: A
Charms: E
Defense Against the Dark Arts: E
Herbology: E
History of Magic: A
Potions: E
Transfiguration: O
Ancient Runes: O
Arithmancy: E
Before her sixth year, Fee learned that she would be Quidditch Captain for Ravenclaw. Her love for the sport helped her survive, her focus on school helped as well. Now she had extra to focus on, which would make things easier. In September, Fee cheated on Jacob, and their relationship ended. She started dating Tony, who was a Ravenclaw a year older than she was. She cheated on him as well, but they didn't break up at first. They went on a date to Hogsmeade during a weekend, and she saw Ben there with another girl. She tried to ignore it. As it turned out, Ben and Tony were friends, and Ben tried to punch Tony, and it was a big mess. At the end of the fighting, Fee and Ben were going out together again. At this point, her whole family hated Ben, blaming him for causing a riff between Fee and her siblings(which was somewhat true), and not approving of muggleborns as a whole. Because of this, they kept their relationship a secret. Having Ben did make things easier for her.
Over the summer, her parents caught Ben in her room, and flipped out. Her dad said he didn't want to see him ever again, and her parents insisted that they break up. Fee left the house with him, being as stubborn and self-destructive as she was at that time. Over that summer, Ben proposed to her. She said yes. Her seventh year was rocky. Dillon joined them at school, and was sorted into Slytherin. She and Pippa's relationship was rocky, because Pip was angry about what had happened over the summer. Still, they were better than they had been before, and trying to improve. Her confidence in her Quidditch ability left her with no doubt that she would be picked up by a professional team. Her academic success was always important to her. Over Christmas break, Fee went back to her family's house, not wanting to cause any more hurt for anyone. Her N.E.W.T. grades were as follows:
Charms: E
Defense Against the Dark Arts: E
Herbology: A
Potions: A
Transfiguration: O
Healing: E
Ancient Runes: O
Post Graduation:
After graduating, Fee was picked up by the Holyhead Harpies as a reserve. She moved out of her parent's house and into an apartment, though not with her fiance, wanting to live on her own for a bit. When she was 18, her niece Colleen was born, her brother Micah’s child with a hookup. Fee did pick up the role as an Aunt, though not as much as Pippa did.
When she was 19, Ben gave her an ultimatum. No wedding plans had been made or even talked about, Fee hardly wore her ring, and was getting cold feet. The ultimatum was to set a date and commit, and move with him as he studied dragons in Romania, or break up. Fee chose the later, unwilling to give up her career, and honestly, not wanting to actually get married. Ben left for Romania.
Her second year in Professional Quiddtich came with a transfer to the Appleby Arrows.
September of her 22nd year, she heard through the grapevine that Ben was at St. Mungos, being treated for an injury. She also heard that he was working as a bartender at a club. One night in December, she was out with friends, and she set her mind on going to the club to see him. They both tried to stop her, but stopping Fee from doing something she put her mind on was impossible. It was December 5th, 2022. She got there just before the club closed, they talked, and somehow, the next morning she was married. She has very little recollection of the night. For a while, they tried to make it work. She compromised on a lot to attempt to make him happy, feeling like a seventeen year old kind again.
The January after their one year anniversary, in 2024, she found out she was pregnant. Panicked, she didn't tell him. She would've preferred to give the baby up for adoption at first, because she didn't want to give up her career. The first person she told was Pippa. A month and a half later, Ben confronted her about it. He asked if the baby was even his, which insulted Fee, but obviously, it was his. That month, she told Micah, and her whole family. The next month, she told a select few people on her team.
Early May, just before her 24th birthday, Fee had a miscarriage. She had finally gotten used to the idea of having a child, but it was ripped from her. She avoided her husband, avoided everyone. She was heartbroken over it, and still feels like it was her fault for continuing to play Quidditch while pregnant. She also felt as though Ben blamed her for it, as he didn't want to talk to her about it. They got into a fight in June, and a couple of days later, she cheated on him with a fellow beater, Jeremy. Still, she was planning her wedding for October. Her relationship with Jeremy convinced her that it was not the right path for her. In August, Felicity called off the wedding. In September, she filed for divorce.
Felicity has not had a serious relationship since. She floated for a bit from partner to partner, moved into a new, big flat, and is living her best life with her Owl, Athena, and two cats, Cat(a tuxedo cat) and Larry(a fat tabby). She currently enjoys her time being single, and being an Aunt to her adorable niece whom she loves dearly. This lovely character is being played by Aly! Aly has been roleplaying for 14 years, and play none on this site. Aly lives in the Eastern US time zone, and you can reach them by pm, discord
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Felicity was not much of an artist herself, unless you counted extensive Quidditch pitch drawings with very impressive stick figure players on brooms, or the fact that she occasionally didn't use magic to paint her walls. Her sister Keeva, however, was a natural artist, and spent most of her time in her studio painting wonderful, colorful, interesting, large murals. She had painted a wall in Fee's house for her for her birthday the year previous, and it was Felicity's favorite thing in her house. She could hardly believe how talented her little sister was.
Every so often, Fee liked to go to muse and pick up the latest whatever paint related thing available, or just new brushes, seeing as Lala was always ruining hers. She rarely picked these things out on her own, usually asking for help from someone who looked like they knew what they were doing. She didn't want to get the wrong thing, and she wasn't about to dedicate time to figuring out which brushes, colors, etc. were of the best quality when she didn't use them herself.
The woman wandered into muse after Lala had mentioned that she was running low on some colors. Of course, her sister, ever the natural Hufflepuff, never mentioned it to get something out of Fee. For a while, she had tried to turn down the gifts, but had eventually given up hope in that, due to Felicity being able to out-stubborn her little sister. Special gift. Anyway, she still needed to decorate her house. Besides the wall that Lala had painted, her walls were relatively bare. She just hadn't had the time to decorate, with Quidditch, then her backpacking adventure, then Quidditch again. So she figured, two birds with one stone. Buy something for Lala, buy some art for herself! Perfect.
She headed for the gallery first, and immediately spotted a familiar figure. Fee stepped up behind her.
"Come here often?" she asked, her tone holding a joking edge of seduction. Sure, she hadn't gotten ti play with Jesse for long, but she had liked the girl, and they ran in almost the exact same circle.
