CASSIOPIA EMELINE BALL
This is Cassie who is a Witch Weekly Editor.
They are 23 years old, and look a bit like Hayley Williams.
Played by dont judge me.
Cassie doesn't have a lot of memories from her childhood. She remembers her mother. Her dad was never there. He'd had run off the moment he had found out that Cassie's mother was pregnant. And that never seemed to matter much. If anyone asked about Cassie's mother, she would recall the small flashes of memory she has. The brilliant blonde hair. The kind smile. The understanding nature. And then of course the illness.
Cassie didn't remember what illness claimed her mother...but she remembered the muggle doctors not being able to figure it out. Cassie was five and her mother was gone all too soon.
The young girl was sent to a small orphanage and boarding school where she resided until her eleventh birthday. On her eleventh birthday, a large owl landed just outside the window to her room...and he wouldn't leave. Full of wonder and a spirit that craved adventure, Cassie had thrown open the window...and in return, the bird gifted her an envelope. The most glorious gift a child could have received.
Cassie was a witch. And she'd be leaving the teenie tiny orphanage to attend a school...Ilvermorny.
In school, Cassie was sorted into the Thunderbird house...and gods, did it fit her. Her adventurous and fearless soul loved it. Her studies always came second to the adventure...but she did well enough. Her favorite class was always charms and it wasn't uncommon for the girl to charm her friends hair to appear in vibrant different colors. School was a fun time for her...family or not. But after graduation.
There wasn't much in North America for the girl. So...she left!
She visited Spain...Italy...Russia...Japan...and eventually she landed in England. Cassie fell in love with London. She loved the atmosphere...the opportunities. All of it.
Taking on a job as a reporter for a small press...Cassie found a passion in it...and in just a few short years...she was selected as the new editor once her predecessor retired. Life is good for the witch. She gets to visit quidditch matches...events...galas...and then report on it all. Even though technically her job is just to edit...she still loves to hit the field when she can.
Witch Weekly is the only home she's truly known. She loves her job and her team.
