PERSONALITY
Positives:Negatives:
- Intelligent
- Loves to take charge
- Hopeless romantic
Overall personality: Rose is fundamentally a very analytical and literal person who has never gotten on well with other people. When she does connect with someone, she tends toward the possessive and idealistic. She cannot stand to be in an environment that is not under her control. When she was very young, she tended to be reserved and want to keep to herself, but in her teens, she realized that this strategy wasn't working for her, and in a fit of frustration and desperation, became a real meddler.
- Ego- and spite-driven
- Volatile
- Unempathetic
- Inaccurate self-knowledge
A onetime Head Girl of Hogwarts, she developed a taste for power and the knowledge that she doesn't particularly care if she hurts other people in the pursuit of what she wants. It's not like anyone would ever do the same for her, after all.
She firmly believes in her own superiority and her interactions with others tend to be marked with condescension.

History: Rose was born on August 25, 1984 to witch Ellen Zeller and wizard Morton Zeller in the suburb of Meir. Her mother, Ellen, was a somewhat successful wizarding potter who made hand-crafted clay goods like pots and bowls for a small profit, and her father, Morton, worked for the St. Mungo’s in the Artefact Accidents department. As both the Zellers and the Wells families were rather old wizarding families, they had a substantial amount of money in Gringotts, though certainly not as much as some other pureblood families and not enough to justify not getting a real career, and Ellen and Morton inherited the Zeller house from Morton’s parents. Both Ellen and Morton were graduates of Hogwarts School and both were Hufflepuff alumni.
Hogwarts was a whole new world for her. Even just having a wand was different. There were so many people, to start out with- which was not necessarily a good thing but not really bad either. But, most importantly, there was magic. And she could control it for once. This led to a lot more experimentation both in and outside of class, where she discovered that what she was really good at was making magical things. She was careful not to break rules-she figured they were made for good reasons-but she did skirt a few lines.
Socially, Rose survived, meaning she knew enough to make some friends and then avoid about a third of the Hogwarts population. She wasn’t ever very good at making friends, but the ones she did have she tried to stick by as much as she could.
Until the middle of fifth year.
That was the year when Opheliya Warrington, Rose's friend started dating Archibald "Archie" Larkin. Rose, who had always been very protective, even possessive, strongly objected to the courtship, enough to make the mistake of yelling at Archie in front of Opheliya. She refused to take back anything she said (after all, she believed it in the entirety), so the two became estranged.
Not one to give up, she continued both trying to be Opheliya's friend and the ruiner of her relationship, which were, at least in Opheliya's opinion, mutually incompatible positions. This left Rose in a very uncomfortable position, but she refused to give up, even when she become commonly known as "That Crazy Puff."
She fell into a state of despondency after graduation - she had lost her status as Head Girl, her best friend, her greatest enemy, and her source of 11-year-old sycophants and cannon fodder. When she stumbled upon a Muggle self-help organization/borderline cult, she was immediately drawn in and quickly worked her way into the inner circle (occasionally using her magical abilities to steamroll Muggle members). She sincerely believes in the messages and exercises promoted by this group and has a genuine admiration for its founder, whom she now believes to be her personal friend and confidant. This has changed her vocabulary but has no significant effect on her tendency towards singleminded, obsessive chaos and terror. In the magical world, she spent some time as a shopkeeper but eventually pivoted to working as some kind of Ministry auditor and finds it enjoyable. She occasionally dreams of a hypothetical timeline where she is a nanny for Opheliya and Archie’s children, as once suggested by Nahla in a message to me that I have uncovered in my inbox, but she totally doesn’t think about Fee that much anymore (…though of course if Fee were to apologize, Rose would forgive her. Rose thinks this is very big of herself.) Instead, she is focused on clearing all the obstacles that are blocking her inner divine spark from its true power (destroying her enemies and rooting out financial malfeasance).
